Joely and Stephen’s wedding at The Factory at Walton Mill in Monroe Georgia was really really fun. There’s so many other words I could use to sum up their wedding day, but to me, fun seems to be the most fitting. Joely and Stephen included so many personal touches to their day, and the Factory at Walton Mill provided the perfect atmosphere for the modern, hip, and fun vibe they more than pulled off.
For starters, the bride and groom wore Nike Air Force 1 ’07’s, and their whole bridal party matched their look wearing different types of white tennis shoes. Joely and her bridesmaids wore cute little workout dresses to get ready in. Totally obsessing over this idea, IDK about you!
Second, the groom is a biggg Star Wars guy. So, of course there had to be a Star Wars groom’s cake, and for their recessional song, they played The Imperial March. So fun and unique!
Joely and Stephen shared personal letters with each other before the ceremony, entered their reception with flashy sunglasses and bottles of champagne in hand, and tore it up on the dance floor later to songs from the summer camp they used to work at where they met and fell in love.
Their wedding day was unique and very them, and I’m so honored to be real life friends with such a fun and Christ-centered couple. The start of their marriage was such a joy to photograph, and I know it’s continuing to make them and those around them better people.
