I met up with Nikki and Wesley at Arabia Mountain on a May afternoon during golden hour for their engagement session. Arabia Mountain is one of my favorite locations, because there’s an open field close by too, so you get fields and mountains. The best of both worlds if you ask me.
Nikki and I met working at a summer camp in 2018, and from the first day I knew I wanted to be her friend. I remember thinking she had to be one of the most bubbly, out-going, and joyful people I had ever met. To this day, I stand by my assessment. When I found out Wesley proposed to Nikki, I was so excited for her. We used to always talk about camp crushes during our summer together, and being able to see the ways God answered prayers through her relationship with Wesley is so special to see.
One thing I love about these photos, is how clear it is that Nikki and Wesley have a lot of fun together. I mean, have you ever seen two people smiling and laughing so much? I love the fact that I get to capture and hang on to the ways my couple’s felt during such important seasons of life.
