Dara and I both went to UGA and met on a mission trip to Jamaica a few years ago. One night on the trip, we were sitting in a big circle outside playing mafia and I offered her an oreo. We’ve been friends ever since, so it was extra special when she reached out about doing her grad pictures!
We were supposed to do her shoot at the end of July, but we kept having to reschedule. On our way to Athens it started pouring, so we decided to start at Creature Comforts to get some indoor shots in until the rain stopped. Sadly, when we got there they were only doing outdoor seating and no one was supposed to be inside—but once we explained our situation, the staff was seriously so understanding and KIND. They offered to brighten the lighting for us and even gave Dara a free beer. Moral of the story: always be kind, have a rain plan, and drink creature comforts!!
